Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 244 and a web site designed to help parents and families with their communications. If you would like to join our Scouting family, click on the 'Contact Us' function and send us a message. This site has been created to help you with your journey through the Cub Scout program from Kindergarten through 5th grade, Lions to Arrow of Light and then on to Boy Scouts.
Pack 244 serves youth from Beaver Creek Elementary School in Johnston, Iowa, giving them a fun-filled program designed to help them become citizens of great character! We are the oldest active pack in Johnston, chartered to Northpoint Church since 1975, and now in 2020 chartered to Saint Paul Presbyterian Church. We meet at Johnston Lion's Club, usually on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.

Pinewood Derby Results

I hope everyone enjoyed the Pinewood Derby yesterday. The races themselves went very fast, and the boys looked like they had a good time. A BIG thank you to those that helped setup Friday night, and those that helped clean up after the race. Thanks to Johnston PD for acting as our judge again. Office Jodi had a challenge this year without being able to see all the cars together on the table at the same time. The results sheet can be found under Files\Pinewood Derby. Trophies will be awarded at Blue and Gold next month.
